Splendid You is a brand born with the hope that all working women will be able to shine both at work and in their private lives while cherishing their individuality.

The trigger was my own struggles at work

I am a woman in my 30s who works for a foreign company.
Ever since I was a student, I have aimed to become a career woman who is active around the world. I am currently working in Europe.

However, as I have progressed in my career, I have experienced many times where being a woman has become an obstacle.

For example, even if I work hard in sales, I might be told, "You only went there because you're a young woman," or when I try my best, I might be told with concern, "You don't have to push yourself so hard."

Of course, I know that no one meant any harm, but I have always felt frustrated by the feeling that I am being judged on my "gender" rather than on my own will or effort.

Also, there is an image that female managers "don't laugh, don't fall in love, and don't talk about their private lives," so there was a time when I also felt the need to be seen as proper and suppressed my true self.

But then, my true self became painful.

A society where women can be proud of being women

I want to put an end to having to choose between femininity and professional growth.

Work hard, be beautiful, and value your private life.
I hope that more women will cherish all of these things and work with pride.

With this in mind, we launched Splendid You.
